From Monday 9^th October, parents and carers across Oxfordshire have new digital tools to help them deal with common childhood conditions.

As we prepare for the busy winter months, health and social care professionals across Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West are building on their experience of working together throughout the year and during previous winters.

Local NHS teams have now given more than five million COVID-19 jabs since the beginning of the vaccination programme in December 2020.

Oxfordshire, like many places, is facing challenges with an ageing population, increased demand for services, mental health and wellbeing concerns in young people and significant inequality in the health of our  residents.

People can now book their flu vaccine online from today (2 October) as the NHS booking system opens ahead of what could be a challenging winter for the health service.

Raj Bhamber, the Chief People Officer at Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Berkshire West ICB has congratulated everyone involved in the system-wide workforce planning and development initiative, listed as a finalist in Healthcare People’s Management Association (HPMA) Excellence in People Awards in the category of ‘HSJ Jobs Award for Systems Workforce Planning’.
